Truly a 5 star stay in this spacious and comfortable apartment. I knew the building in its previous existence We were very impressed with the quality of the materials used in the conversion. We particularly appreciated the space. We have been living in a tiny semi functional 2 room gite for 3 months as we are between houses. We needed a treat and found it here.

We had a wonderful stay at Sea Sounds, Mundesley on week commencing 20th June 2022. We stayed with our toddler and 8 week old baby and the holiday let was perfect for the needs of our family of four. For us, there were several aspects of the flat that were really great and made it stand out from other places we've stayed: - there were two bathrooms one with shower and one with both bath and shower - the kitchen was fully equipped with all the kitchen utensils anyone would wish to find at home and a dishwasher too - there was a washing machine for doing emergency loads! - there was a lovely table and chairs with umbrella in the sun trap garden area - there was a great barbecue which we used twice during our stay - there was a box of toys in the living room which was a godsend for keeping our toddler entertained - the walk to the idyllic sandy and quiet beach was just a couple of minutes away - the Ship Inn pub just around the corner had a play area for the little ones which was very welcomed while we had a glass of wine. - the parking space was very close to the flat A couple of other notable positives were that Lucinder helpfully organised a cot for our little one and was very responsive during our stay. There was also a welcome basket of goodies made in Norfolk. A really sweet touch was that the handwashes and moisturisers were made in Norfolk too and smelled gorgeous. We had a really positive experience during our stay. The space was clean, neat, tidy, well-quipped and quiet. We felt very at home and would certainly love to visit again.

We had a wonderful weekend here. The apartment was beautifully decorated and clean and had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed! We had a lovely couple of walks and enjoyed spending time in the local pub, which is less than 5 minutes from the apartment. We also used the Chinese takeaway, which was really tasty. All in all, a lovely stay and we hope to visit again soon.

We recently stayed at Sea Sounds (in Mundesley) & have to say that it was absolutely wonderful. We know the area very well & can say that, without doubt, this is the perfect location, having extremely close beach access;being a short & easy walk to the village centre/shops & restaurants yet being tucked away in a quiet, peaceful spot. The apartment itself is well-planned/decorated and was spotlessly clean (something I’m a little picky about). It was so easy to live in for the week as it’s spacious,well-equipped & very comfortable. Lucinda was lovely to communicate with & she has clearly put a lot of thought into this holiday rental. . We are already booked to stay again-this time in the summer (so we’re now looking forward to using the lovely outdoor patio/balcony space, too)! Overall-Sea Sounds is a great place to stay & we’d very much recommend it.

This beautiful modern apartment is a few minutes from the beach and the amenities on the seafront with shops nearby. It has everything you could wish for, the decor is very tasteful and so well appointed. The bonus is having a patio garden and being quiet and relaxing. There are good eating places close by. Thank you Lucinda you’ve thought of everything , we certainly hope to be back soon . Barbara and Peter Warren

Our first trip away with our little daughter and this place was lovely and so well equipped. It’s in a lovely location and the house was gorgeous. The little touches made such a difference like a baby bath and towel left out for us! We are already looking at when we can return.

I stayed here in June 2021. Great location - easy access to Norwich city centre and also a trip to Blakeney - the best of both worlds! The accommodation was clean and modern. A lovely stay - I look forward to returning!

In July 2021 I stayed at the barn in South Norfolk. The accommodation was clean, tidy and nicely furnished. The location was peaceful and offered some great local countryside walks, alongside quick access to Norwich city centre and the Norfolk coast.

Find The Barn:

Address - Vale Barn, Vale Road, Thurton, NR14 6AP.

The postcode should lead you straight to the property but if not directions are below.

If travelling from Norwich direction along the A146, when you come into Thurton there will be the George and Dragon pub and then the Trader Van forecourt on your right. Turn left into Vale Road opposite the Trader Van site and follow the road into the open field area where there is a pond (sometimes dry) on your left. After the pond, continue straight until you see some barns and take the second driveway on your left.

If travelling along the A146 from Beccles direction (toward Norwich) you will turn right off the A146 onto the Avenues. This road is hidden a little by roadside bushes and trees but is located after the lay-by which is on your left and before the speed camera. This is a narrow track between two fields. Turn left at the bottom of the road then take the first driveway on your right.

The property is a 15-minute taxi ride from Norwich train station.

There is a bus stop at the top of Vale Road and buses leave Norwich city centre regularly throughout the day and evening. You can take the Border bus 146 or the First bus coastal links numbered X2, X22 or X21. Please ask the driver to let you off at the Thurton George and Dragon stop. You can then reach the property within a 5-7 minute walk.

Find The Coastal Retreat:

Address - Apartment 1, Seaview Court, Paston Road, Mundesley, NR11 8BN.

The sat nav should take you straight to the property but if not, directions are below.

You will come onto Paston Road and need to follow the road along towards the sea. You should pass The Royal Hotel on your left and the property is a little further along the road on your left. If you reach the sharp bend to the left you have gone too far. Alternatively, if you are on Paston Road and the Ship pub is on your left, you need to keep going straight up the hill and round the very tight bend to the right. Immediately after the tight bend, there is an entrance way on your right which leads to the parking for the apartments.
